장학금 안내 St. Andrew Kim Scholarship 2026

We are pleased to announce this annual scholarship sponsored by the Korean Catholic Church Credit Union (KCCCU). The scholarship is only available to the parishioners of St. Andrew Kim Parish in Toronto, Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Toronto, St. Peter Yu Parish in Hamilton, St. Paul Chung Parish in Kitchener, and St. Andrew Kim Parish in London.

The scholarship committee will accept applications until Sunday August 23rd, 2026, hold the scholarship celebration luncheon on Saturday October 10th, 2026 at St. Andrew Kim Parish in Toronto, and the scholarship will be awarded during Mass at your home parish (i.e. 10 am mass in St. Andrew Kim Parish) on Sunday October 11th, 2026. The scholarship must be accepted in person and not by a third party, and it cannot be mailed to you.

Your application does not guarantee acceptance and the recipients of the scholarship will be carefully selected by the Scholarship Committee. The scholarship will be awarded in the following categories.

1. Seminarian Recognition Award-Separate Application will be emailed to Seminarian
1) This Award is granted to all permanent diaconate candidates, and seminarians enrolled at a seminary of the Archdiocese of Toronto for formation to ordination as priests and deacons.
2) The amount of the award will be $2,000 or as adjusted by the Scholarship Committee.

2. High School Award of Excellence
1) This Award is available to all high school students who
     i) Have demonstrated community leadership especially at their parish in 2025 and 2026 and
     ii) Have submitted academic transcript (i.e. report card) in their most recently completed school year
2) The amount of the award will be $500 or as adjusted by the Scholarship Committee.

3. Post-Secondary School Award of Excellence
1) This Award is available to all post-secondary students (including those who are entering their first year in September 2026) who
     i) Have demonstrated community leadership especially at their parish in 2025 and 2026 and
     ii) Have submitted academic transcript (i.e. report card) in their most recently completed school year
2) The amount of the award will be $1,200 or as adjusted by the Scholarship Committee.
